I am a gardener, animal lover, mom of 2, biologist with a passion for learning and education. I am a self employed math and science tutor, thanks to the encouragement of my husband, Corey, and truly love my job.
I discovered the midwifery world by asking questions about what I was seeing and hearing from the “mainstream.” By the time I was pregnant and ready to have my own babies, I was passionate about empowering women to be the stars of their own big show: pregnancy, labor, and birth are a mother’s time to shine.
I was lucky enough to live in the same town as the Tree Of Life Midwifery and Birth Center in Fredericksburg VA. Here I’ve joined a community of women that have added to and intensified my passion for informed choices for women and all people.
